Our camps are a combination of fun and games with a focus on your child’s educational development. Whether your child wants to explore physical activity, STEM, dance, the outdoors or Junglesport, we have a camp for them. Experienced, quality service providers offer our Summer Camps.
Our camps offered by Camps Canada are a one-stop-shop for awesome camp options: Arts and Crafts, Ball Hockey, Multisport, and some half-day options for 5-6-year-olds. Campers enjoy their camp of choice each morning (chosen weekly) and some off-site outings each week. Extended camp hours, enthusiastic bilingual certified teachers and amazing programming make this a great summer camp. Its mission is to create a special place for every camper to make lasting memories and to experience success, regardless of their abilities.

Johnny Berhanemeskel Basketball Camp: 9-16 years (placed in age appropriate groups)
Co-Ed Basketball Camp
The focus will be on individual skill and fundamental development, instruction is provided by top local and out-of-town players and coaches. Participants must bring their own lunch/snacks, and basketball to camp each day.
Johnny Berhanemeskel • Canadian professional basketball player for BC Budivelnyk of the European North Basketball League and the Champions League. Johnny Berhanemeskel plays at the shooting guard position, and has previously played in Estonia, Spain, Germany and Greece. He played college basketball at the University of Ottawa.

The sky’s the limit for fun in this coed camp! Experienced P. E. teachers will provide quality instruction in cohorts under OPH guidelines, in an encouraging and fun environment. The curriculum is designed to instill confidence while participating in most major sports, as well as traditional and non-traditional games. Includes First Star t-shirt, and Friday Pizza Day (if OPH guidelines permit). Our goal is to facilitate the development of individual strengths and skills in a relaxed and caring manner.

Along with a variety of sports and physical activities, First Star Plus offers a chance to explore a wide range of interests. The Goal of GAME ON is for campers to actively participate in a variety of sports with the FOCUS on fun! Junglesport Climbing & Adventure Camp: 7-12 years
Climb the Rock Walls. Enjoy high-flying flips. Whoosh down the Zip Line. Have fun, make friends and enjoy the challenges at Junglesport’s Adventure Activity Camp. Junglesport is the premier provider of climbing & adventure programs in schools across Ontario – they ran activities for over 100,000 participants each year prior to Covid. Camp activities include: rock climbing; high & low ropes challenges; obstacle courses; acrobatics in the air; monkey gyms & zip line. Plus outdoor sports & traditional camp games. Luv2Groove™ Urban Dance Camp: 6-13 years
Luv2Groove™ is a unique dance camp, blending urban dance, outdoor fun and one-of-a-kind crafts. Throughout the week, campers will move and groove, play outdoor games, create customized crafts, tie-dye t-shirts and make friends and memories that last a lifetime. All materials are included!

National Kids Camps: Mountain Bike Kids – 8-14 years, Kanata

Campers will leave the school site and use the outdoor trails in the Kanata Lakes area, they will learn bike handling skills, trail etiquette, bike maintenance, and develop trail riding skills. Participants will also learn the fundamentals of environmentally sound and responsible trail building and maintenance. Campers will participate in safe, fun, and positive games and activities led by their experienced coaches. All skill levels are welcome. Bike storage is available during the week.
Note: Campers must bring a Mountain Bike (tuned up and ready to go), bike helmet and gloves (knee and elbow pads recommended). Mechanics and coaches do a bike fit and helmet check on the first morning of camp. Bike rentals available: $99/week + HST ($150/week + HST for new bike fleet), call National Kids Camp office at 613-723-1101 to reserve.

Campers will play a variety of sports such as Spikeball, volleyball, mini-golf, Ultimate Frisbee, badminton, touch tennis, pickleball, flag football, capture the flag, ping pong, soccer, track, baseball, basketball, archery tag, cricket… and more. Participants will channel their inner athlete and try different sports and games that will get them active! Experienced staff/coaches will maintain an encouraging environment.

Arts and Crafts
Camp Arts and crafts in the morning and swimming/off-site activities in the afternoon. This camp is all about fun with basic arts and crafts. Our experienced art teachers provide a variety of creative activities using assorted materials such as pastels, coloured pencils, watercolour paints, foam sheets, googly eyes, beads, fabric paint, and more! Our awesome teachers provide lots of encouragement, guidance and inspiration. At the end of the week, you will have a portfolio of wonderful projects to take home.
Bike Safety Camp
Bike Safety skills and games in the morning and swimming/off-site activities in the afternoon. This camp develops basic riding skills such as steering abilities, braking and a general introduction to the rules of the road. Bikes with training wheels are welcome but we cannot guarantee that campers will be ready to remove them after one week of camp. On the first day of camp, we will divide the campers into beginners, intermediate and advanced and they will be given instruction accordingly.
Multisport Camp
Sports activities in the morning and swimming/off-site activities in the afternoon. Action-packed and filled with variety, this camp is like a fun phys-ed class. We play a wide variety of sports including archery, basketball, baseball, ball hockey, soccer, bocce ball, dodgeball, large-group games, touch football, ultimate frisbee, and soccer-baseball. Our goal for this camp is to nurture an appreciation of sport and provide an environment where all children achieve success regardless of their athletic ability.
CAMPS CANADA: ½ day Camps (5 and 6 year olds only)
We offer two options (Multisport and Arts and Crafts) for half-day camps for 5 and 6-year-olds. “Mornings Only Campers” will take part in our traditional Arts Camp or Multisport Camp and then leave just after lunch before our afternoon activities.
