We have a selection of fun, safe and engaging camps designed to create happy childhood memories. Our Active Camps offer a variety of sports activities, build friendships and enhance social skills while helping to develop resilience and confidence – all while having fun!

Campers provide their own lunch and snacks. Running shoes are required.

Active ARTISTS: 5-12 years Taught by experienced educators, our camp offers an inspiring environment for kids who enjoy completing arts and crafts projects, with a focus on having fun. Projects will include drawing, painting, sculpture and much more! Campers will release some of their pent-up energy with plenty of sports, outdoor activities, games and special events.

Active BAKER: 5-12 years Ready, Set, Mix, Bake, and Decorate! In this baking-focused camp, we’ll focus on different baking specialties each day, including bread, pies, cakes, cookies and more! Campers will learn basic baking techniques including, following a recipe, kneading, rolling and shaping doughs and more – all while making new friends! Bakers will actively participate in plenty of outdoor activities and sports with a qualified teacher.

Active CHEFS: 5-12 years Get cooking and fit this summer! Learning to cook allows young people to get the “hands-on” practice needed to develop an extraordinary number of life skills. Active Chefs promotes healthy eating and physical activity – your child is bound to have a blast with their new friends! Meal preparation includes lunch and an afternoon snack in the culinary arts facility of the school.

Active CODER: 8-13 years Imagination comes to life in this computer programming camp! Our camp encourages creativity, mathematical and computational skills. Campers will learn basic design concepts and object interaction using contemporary programming languages. Physical play, outdoor activity, and fitness are balanced with computer lab time, ensuring your future programmer has a positive experience.

Active eSPORTS: 6-13 years With plenty of gaming, learning, outdoor activity and exercise, your kids will love our Active eSports summer camp! Exploring our library of games, playing in mini-tournaments and more! Join in on the fun this summer, playing games with a balanced complement of sports and activities. All camps are run by certified educators.

Active GAMER: 5-12 years Don’t just play games, make them! We offer computer programming, some gameplay, plus fun camp activities that create a well-rounded summer camp experience. Physical activity and fitness are matched with software development and gameplay. Active Gamer promotes the importance of balancing physical fitness and screen time.

Active GLOW: 5-12 years Designed to foster self-esteem and life skills development in every camper while having fun, staying active and making friends. Campers will enjoy yoga, pilates, spa days, creating dance routines as well as many mainstream sports and activities. Using technical and creative resources, a supportive group of experienced educators and mentors provide positive role models and hands-on experience.

Active ROBOTICS: 6-13 years Build your own robots while learning about the interactions of sensors, motors, mechanics, and electronics. Campers will use Lego Mindstorms to develop, program, test and compete with their working models. Physical play, outdoor activity, and fitness are balanced with computer lab time, ensuring your future engineer has a positive experience. Explore a sense of wonder through structured, hands-on experiences and learning opportunities!

Active SCIENTISTS: 5-12 years Explore a sense of wonder through structured, hands-on experiences and learning opportunities! Join together with fellow campers as they delve into the thrill of Science-based activities. Critical thinking, logic and reasoning skills are fostered- all while making new friends! Join in on the fun this summer, these camps will have high-quality science learning complete with experiments, demonstrations, games, hands-on activities, and group challenges. A balanced complement of sports and activities is included daily, run by certified educators.

  • $269 per week ($249 siblings) *(4-day week: $215/$199 siblings) for Active ARTISTS, Active CODER, Active eSports, Active GAMERS, Active GLOW, Active SCIENTISTS, Active ROBOTICS
  • $289 per week ($269 siblings) *(4-day week: $235/$215 siblings) for Active BAKER, Active CHEF

COVID Protocols

Summer camp registration is now open, however, the operation of summer camps is dependent on Ottawa Public Health regulations. If summer camps are cancelled, the Ottawa Catholic School Board will refund the camp fee in full. Our summer camp service providers will have provided their guidelines/plans to demonstrate compliance with Ontario Ministry of Health and Ottawa Public Health guidelines. Many of our camps are staffed by teachers who have operated with these protocols firsthand this past year.
