We offer a wide variety of summer programs that are available to students from all school boards. With credit courses, language instruction, and camps – we offer many ways to keep students of all ages engaged throughout the summer months!

Summer Camps

The Ottawa Catholic School Board, Continuing & Community Education camps offer your child the chance to explore, learn something new, make friends, be active, and have fun.

The OCSB Summer Camps are full-day and located at various OCSB schools across the city, allowing your child to try different activities every week. Choose from an exciting variety of great activities including basketball, art, baking, mountain biking, sports variety, dance, gaming, robotics, science, outdoor challenges, soccer, mini-golf and more! 

Summer International & Indigenous Languages Program – Elementary

Join the OCSB International & Indigenous Languages Summer Elementary Program! Students from JK – Grade 8 have the option of in-person or virtual learning, and can select from the languages of Amharic, Blin, Cantonese, Dutch, Farsi, Igbo, Italian, Korean, Mandarin (Simplified), Portuguese, Punjabi, Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Tigrinya, Turkish and Yoruba. The program runs July 4 – August 4 and is free for Ontario residents. 

Summer School

Summer School programs are offered for students in Grades 6-8 and 9-12 at various school locations around Ottawa, with some courses being offered online. Our Reach Ahead courses are open to all learners from all school boards; you don’t have to be an OCSB student to take advantage of these exciting summer learning opportunities.

Summer Adult ESL & LINC

Offered at various locations, our adult ESL summer classes are available for new Canadians, landed immigrants, refugees, refugee claimants, visa holders, visitors, and diplomats.

  • Citizenship Preparation
