New to Canada? We can help register your child for school!
Our OCSB Family Welcome Centre helps newcomer families register their children for school in Grades 1 to 12 and settle into the Ottawa Catholic school community. We can help you whether you’re a permanent resident, refugee, Canadian citizen, diplomat or in Canada on a study or work permit.
The first step for newcomer families is to schedule an appointment with our friendly staff at the Family Welcome Centre. The appointment typically takes two to three hours. Staff will work closely with the new families to make the registration process as easy as possible. Families will also receive orientation information to assist them with their resettlement.
