If you’re wondering, how can I ensure my child has a great summer? OCSB Summer Camps are just the thing! Our camps are a combination of fun and games with a focus on your child’s educational development.
Whether your child wants to explore physical activity, STEM, dance, the outdoors or Junglesport, we have a camp for them. Experienced, quality service providers offer our Summer Camps.
Our camps offered by Camps Canada are a one-stop-shop for awesome camp options: Arts and Crafts, Ball Hockey, and Multisport. Campers enjoy their camp of choice each morning (chosen weekly) and some off-site outings each week. Extended camp hours, enthusiastic bilingual certified teachers and amazing programming make this a great summer camp. Its mission is to create a special place for every camper to make lasting memories and experience success, regardless of their abilities.

Our Active Camps provide an inspiring environment where kids can explore their passions and develop valuable skills through a variety of engaging activities while having fun, playing sports games, and making friends.
Campers provide their own lunch and snacks. Running shoes are required.
Develop your skills and try something new!
Do you have a budding artist at home? Join us for a week filled with hands-on art and craft activities led by a qualified instructor dedicated to ensuring a fun, safe, and creative environment. Participants will explore various techniques in drawing, painting, and sculpture, delving into the fundamentals of composition and personal expression. This week-long art camp aims to introduce students to diverse art forms, such as acrylic pouring, mixed media, and upcycling. All necessary materials are provided, and each camper will design their own t-shirt. On Friday, enjoy a pizza lunch together. Additionally, we’ll take a break for fresh air and physical activity with one hour of daily outdoor activities, games, and play.

Busy Minds Education® is thrilled to offer a high-energy, adventure-packed camp experience designed to help children shine—mind, body, and soul. Arts and Crafts
Arts and crafts in the morning and swimming/off-site activities in the afternoon. This camp is all about fun with basic arts and crafts. Our experienced art teachers provide a variety of creative activities using assorted materials such as pastels, coloured pencils, watercolour paints, foam sheets, googly eyes, beads, fabric paint, and more! Our awesome teachers provide lots of encouragement, guidance and inspiration. At the end of the week, you will have a portfolio of wonderful projects to take home.
Bike Safety Camp
Bike Safety skills and games in the morning and swimming/off-site activities in the afternoon. This camp develops basic riding skills such as steering abilities, braking and a general introduction to the rules of the road. Bikes with training wheels are welcome but we cannot guarantee that campers will be ready to remove them after one week of camp. On the first day of camp, we will divide the campers into beginners, intermediate and advanced and they will be given instruction accordingly.
Multisport Camp
Sports activities in the morning and swimming/off-site activities in the afternoon. Action-packed and filled with variety, this camp is like a fun phys-ed class. We play a wide variety of sports including archery, basketball, baseball, ball hockey, soccer, bocce ball, dodgeball, large-group games, touch football, ultimate frisbee, and soccer-baseball. Our goal for this camp is to nurture an appreciation of sport and provide an environment where all children achieve success regardless of their athletic ability.
Swim Lesson Camp
Swim lessons and Multisport Camp in the morning and swimming/off-site activities in the afternoon. The lessons provided in this camp are the same as you would receive with the City of Ottawa’s Sea Creatures and Sea Colours program. Lessons are provided during camp hours by experienced, qualified City of Ottawa Lifeguards/Instructors. Campers will have a 45-minute swimming lesson each morning for two weeks.
Basketball Skills Camp
Co-Ed camp will look at all facets of the game focusing on footwork, shooting, dribbling, and other individual, small-group concepts. Conducted by Founder Tony House and featuring the staff and players of Canada’s Premier Prep School, as well as other notable basketball instructors and trainers. Each camper will receive a CTA Skills Camp t-shirt. Participants need to bring their own lunch/snacks, and basketball to camp each day, and will be placed in age appropriate groups.

New This Year! Swimming at the Wave Pool
Decathlon Sports Camp 2025 offers a fun, action-packed experience with a wide variety of sports and activities like flag rugby, cricket, soccer, swimming, volleyball, basketball, archery tag, and more. Kids get into the spirit by wearing national team colors and waving flags, with the top three teams winning medals at the end of the week.
Educational Objectives: We focus on the Olympic values of A.S.P.I.R.E. (Attitude, Sportsmanship, Pride, Individual Responsibility, Respect, Express Yourself) to teach kids the spirit of the Olympic Movement.
Approach: Our passionate and experienced staff create a positive, enthusiastic environment, inspiring campers to feel excited and engaged, especially as they build up to the Decathlon Games, modelled after the Olympics. The sky’s the limit for fun in this coed camp! Experienced P. E. Teachers and University students will provide quality instruction in an encouraging and fun environment. The curriculum is designed to instill confidence while participating in most major sports, as well as cooperative activities and non-traditional games. Co-Ed Basketball Camp – get ready to elevate your game at our summer basketball camp! Focus on sharpening your individual skills and mastering the fundamentals. Learn from top-notch local talent and renowned guest coaches who will push you to reach new heights on the court. Each camper will receive a Johnny Basketball shirt. Bring your own basketball, snacks and lunch each day. Unleash your potential and take your play to the next level! This camp is proudly sponsored by the Adam Marc Bignell Foundation, which believes that financial barriers should never prevent children from experiencing summer camp. Camp Director: Johnny Berhanemeskel is a Canadian professional basketball player with over a decade of international experience. As a dynamic shooting guard, he has competed in top leagues across Estonia, Spain, Germany, Greece, France, Italy, and Kuwait. During his university career at the University of Ottawa, Johnny earned distinguished accolades—including CIS Outstanding Player, First Team All-Canadian, and OUA Player of the Year honours in his fifth season with the Ottawa Gee-Gees. He also set enduring records at Ottawa, finishing as the all-time leading scorer with 2,000 points and recording the most career three-pointers made at 299..

Summer Day Camps – Beach, Indoor, Pre-tryout
Choose your week, choose your age group, choose your location, choose the type. Types vary from week to week and location to location. Options include: Beach, Indoor, Pre-tryout Training.
Athletes will be placed in small groups formed on the basis of age and skill, with an assigned Coach. Friends and siblings can be placed into the same group upon request. All camps are co-ed (mixed gender).
This fun and pressure-free environment will focus on developing:
- Fundamental volleyball skills such as passing, setting & hitting (younger age groups) or Advanced skills and tactics such as narrow/wide plays, serving tactics & blocking (older age groups).
- Universal athletic abilities such as sprinting, jumping, diving, stretching & balancing.
- Leadership abilities such as communication and cooperation.
Please be sure to bring the following items each day:
- Lunch and snacks – and a water bottle
- “Indoor-only” court or gym shoes
- Shorts or appropriate leggings
- Knee pads (optional)
Need Child Care? We will have a staff member on site as early as 8:30 am and as late as 4:30 pm.
Nike Basketball Camp
Camp Director Phillip Ferreira is excited to host Nike Basketball Camp at the St Pius High School in Ottawa, Ontario. The Nike Basketball Camp will offer co-ed training for players ages 10 – 17 during summer 2025.
This popular camp allows attendees to develop their fundamental basketball skills – shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding and defense. In addition, campers have the opportunity to work on the mental aspects of the game through conditioning, video review and skill challenges.

Nike Volleyball Camp
Elevate your volleyball game this Summer at the Nike Volleyball Camp in Ottawa, Ontario, designed for athletes aged 11 to 17 with intermediate and higher skill levels. This camp will be taking place August 11-14, 2025.
Our experienced coaches will provide tailored instruction to enhance your abilities and deepen your passion for the sport. Join us for a week of intensive training, skill development, and team-building activities that will prepare you for competition at all levels. Campers will spend 3-4 hours each day on the court learning essential Pickleball techniques, skills, and strategies. Each participant will not only improve their physical abilities but also have the chance to compete in a mini-tournament. Beyond Pickleball, young athletes will enjoy various multi-sports that will help with their hand-eye coordination such as ping-pong, volleyball, badminton, and many more fun activities. Campers enjoy a variety of thrilling activities, all supported by our dedicated school bus service. The fun begins with the Maxx Game, featuring a laser tag maze, exciting skill challenges, and massive inflatables inside the mega dome. Campers will also visit the Altitude Gym to develop essential rock climbing skills and race each other to the top of the wall. Throughout the week, campers will explore amazing locations, including the OCR Academy for unique indoor obstacle courses and the Ninja Race Course to push their limits. They’ll compete in mini-golf and cool off at the Kanata Wave Pool. A trip to Saunders Farm offers an unforgettable experience, with ziplines soaring over mazes, bouncing fun, and a wide range of exciting activities.
