GAME ON! Sports Camp 

(Ages 7-13 years) 

A variety of sports will be covered during the week including: basketball, volleyball, Ultimate, Tchoukball, badminton, floorball, curling/target games and others. Adult instruction (1:10 ratio). Professional sport-specific instruction by experienced physical education teachers, coaches, and guest speakers. Includes tournament day (large group games), Friday Pizza Day, prizes and awards. Goal of GAME ON! is to participate in a variety of sports with the FOCUS on fun!  Campers provide their own lunch and snacks.

National Tennis Camp (Ages 6-14 years)

This energetic week will consist of 3-5 hours of tennis per day. Campers will learn tennis fundamentals and compete in a tennis tournament. Tennis Canada Certified instructors will teach absolute beginners to advanced level players – there's a court for everyone! Other activities include: Capture the Flag, fun Olympics, road hockey, and swimming. Theme days could include activities like: air bands, crazy clothing/hair day, music day and much more. Campers provide their own lunch and snacks.

National Pickleball Camp  (Ages 6-14 years)

Pickleball combines the sports of badminton, tennis and ping pong. Participants play with a paddle similar to ping pong but larger and a wiffleball. The game is played on a badminton court with a net the same height as tennis. Pickleball is played with similar rules to ping pong and you use an under hand serve.  It is the fastest growing sport in North America! Campers learn about the fundamental strokes and strategy, singles and doubles concepts, scoring, positioning, etiquette and the rules. They'll enjoy modified game play, skill competitions, swimming, and fun game play! Price includes all the equipment. Campers bring their own lunch and snacks to camp.

Remote Control Car Camp  (Ages 10-16 years)

National Kids Camps and the Great Hobbies Shop have partnered together with us to introduce this one-of-a-kind camp. Every participant will receive an AMP MT Monster Truck: BTD Kit (valued over $189). Campers will learn to build the car, drive and maintain it, learn the mechanics behind it, and use drones during the week to fly and film movies. Experienced staff will build tracks and depending on the weather, the program will be using the outdoors for racing and filming. Includes different theme days and demo days by the Great Hobbies Shop. Participants bring their own lunch and snacks to camp.

Spartoon Action Camp (Ages 6-13 years) 

Science, sports, cartooning and fittness all wrapped up into one great camp! Campers will have fun practicing and playing a new sport every day. Get fit through fun and engaging games in the gym. Science will be explored through hands on activities such as flight, roller coasters and custom 3D printing! Learn to draw with a professional cartoonist and make a personalized, digitally sublimated performance t-shirt. All instruction offered by qualified educators and a professional cartoonist. The week winds up with a Fantastic Friday, which includes our human hamster balls, rock climbing, body zorbs, Laser Tag, Archery Tag, ALL NEW BAZOOKA BALL and a pizza lunch! Cost includes custom t-shirt, art kit, special Friday activities and pizza lunch. Campers provide their own lunch and snacks or can sign up for our meal program. 

 Note: Meal program available from Monday to Thursday on-site at an additional cost of $10 per day – payable to the camp counselors at the school NOT at the time of registration. Includes: 2 healthy snacks & lunch. Lunch choices are: Toppers Pizza, Subway, Extreme Pita. Snacks are nut free. Inquiries about the meal plan must be made to the camp counselors at the school.

Basketball Basics Camp March 13-15 (Ages 6-9 years)

Lead by an experienced group of coaches who work with young athletes, players can expect to learn the basic skills and fundamentals of basketball in this exciting and challenging 3-day clinic. The morning will be basketball-focused with the afternoon incorporating different games and activities emphasizing agility, balance, coordination and speed. The varied nature of the program in the afternoon is designed to keep all players engaged and having fun! Campers bring their own lunch and snacks to camp

Super Skills Basketball Camp - March 13-15 (Ages 9-11 years)

Super Skills Basketball Development Camp is a 3-day basketball clinic directed by former Carleton University Ravens player Mike Kenny. The camp will be skills-based with an emphasis on shooting, passing, footwork, ball handling and defence. Whether players are new to the game or have played recreationally they will benefit from an intense and enjoyable three days of basketball instruction and play. Players will learn basic concepts and have the opportunity to apply them in competitive 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 situations. Campers provide their own lunch and snacks.

True Competitor Basketball Camp March 13-15 (Ages 12-13 years)

This camp is  a specially designed clinic for competitive players, or those aspiring to play at that level. Directed by former Carleton University Ravens point guard Mike Kenny, the clinic will be a combination of skills-based – with an emphasis on shooting, passing, footwork and ball handling, and conceptual – reviewing offensive and defensive concepts. Players will benefit from an intense and enjoyable three days of basketball competition, including a skill evaluation and team tournament play. Players can look forward to guest Coach instruction and lectures, as well as character development around the values of humility, courage, resilience, wisdom and leadership. Campers provide their own lunch and snacks.

National Canada Topflight Academy (CTA) Elite Skills Basketball Camp

(Ages 10-17 years)

Co-Ed camp open to participants who have played competitively with their school and/or club teams. Camp will look at all facets of the game focusing on footwork, shooting, dribbling, 1 on 1, 2 on 2 and 3 on 3 concepts. Conducted by the staff and players of Ottawa’s Premier Prep School featuring: Founder/Director Tony House, Coaches Aaron Blakely, Willy Manigat and Alain Cadieux as well as other notable basketball instructors and trainers. Each camper will receive a CTA Elite Skills Camp T-shirt.

My child has medical concerns. How do I inform the camp counsellors?
If your child has any medical conditons or severe allergies, download and complete the Medical Release form, and bring it to camp on the first day.
 
Can I cancel my registration?
You may cancel a camp registration before December 20, 2017 and obtain a refund minus a $15 administration fee. AFTER DECEMBER 20, 2017 REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
