True Competitor Basketball Clinic Taking Charge on the Court - March 11-13 (Boys & Girls 13-16 years)
2 Sessions Available
Session #1 – 9:00 am - Noon
Session #2 – 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
'True Competitor' is someone that understands the difference between playing hard and playing to win. They are accountable for their actions but quick to turn the spotlight to their teammates. They do not hide from or avoid adversity, but rather relish it. They find solutions, not problems. A True Competitor is authentic and passionate about getting better as a player, and person, every day. They take charge of their game. This newly designed, 3-day basketball clinic is for current or aspiring competitive players ages 13-16. In addition to continuing to offer separate programs for boys and girls at this level, this year our sessions will be condensed to a half day. These intense bursts of teaching and competition will not only challenge players on the court but off the court as well. Note: that each session will be capped at 25 players. Each session will feature one hour on individual skill development, one hour on team concepts and strategy and one hour on 'ultimate teammate' competition with a special emphasis on developing strong leaders able to communicate effectively and overcome adversity. Players are to provide their own snacks.
