Registration is open for the 2024-2025 International & Indigenous Languages Program for Elementary and Secondary students!

Your child can learn Arabic, ASL, Blin, Cantonese, Dari, Dutch, Korean, Kurdish, Mandarin, Punjabi, Spanish, Ukrainian, and more!

International & Indigenous Languages Program – Elementary

The International & Indigenous Languages Program – Elementary helps students learn a new language or maintain and develop the language of their family heritage, promoting cultural and linguistic diversity. It is available to all students (JK-Grade 8), regardless of their language background and the school board they attend, and is FREE for Ontario residents. Classes will be offered in-person and/or virtually.

Classes are every Saturday from September 7, 2024, to June 14, 2025.

International Languages Secondary (Credit) Program

This program enables high-school students and adult students to learn and maintain a language other than English and French. Students can earn up to three credits towards their Ontario high school diploma. The program also aims to:

  • foster global awareness and understanding
  • prepare students for post-secondary studies and careers in business, trade and communications
  • enable global skills for travel, International Student exchanges and other opportunities here and abroad
  • develop communication skills for international/global employment opportunities. Classes will be offered virtually and/or in-person. 

Classes are every Saturday from September 21, 2024, to June 7, 2025
