Registration is now open. 

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until classes are full.

All classes are conditional upon sufficient enrollment and are subject to cancellation or transfer to an alternate location.

 You will be contacted by Continuing Education only if the course is cancelled.


Free to all students. 

There is no cost to attend summer school.



NO book deposit or consumable fees.

Students currently attending a high school must be recommended for summer school by their day school principal (or designate).


Adults must provide proof of prerequisite through transcript or report card. Those adults who do not have transcripts or have attended a non-Ontario high school must call 613 723-7757 prior to registering.

Reach Ahead

Reach Ahead courses will run from July 4 - July 25. These courses enable students to obtain a full credit towards their diploma.
Online Reach Ahead courses are teacher-supported​. eLearning T​eachers will be available to meet with students at school locations listed during regular school hours for the duration of the course. S​tudents will be required to meet once with their teacher for RSTs and the final exam.  View the list of online English Course Texts.
Students can only enroll in one Reach Ahead course.


Credit Recovery

Credit Recovery Achievement Centre will run from July 4 to July 20. This program will enable students who have not been successful during the regular school year to recover one full credit. It is recommended that students have obtained a minimum standing of 30% in the original course. Students must be recommended by the home school Credit Recovery Team to participate in this program. 


Please note: our summer school schedule will not be modified to accommodate personal summer plans.

Final exams are compulsory and
MUST be written on
Tuesday, July 24
On Wednesday, July 25, students will have their final opportunity to discuss marks and final exams/RSTs with their teachers.
NO subsidized OC Transpo passes available for high school credit students


Skills Builder

For students currently in grade 6, 7 or 8.  This program will run from July 4 - July 25 from 8:30 am-12:00 pm at Holy Trinity HS, St. Pius X HS, Immaculata HS and St. Matthew HS. Skills Builder is a literacy and numeracy support program for students who are presently achieving at level 2 or lower, and are at a risk. In this program, students receive encouragement, gain confidence and learn how to improve reading, writing, numeracy, study and organizational skills required for success.   Download Registration Form

This program is for current SHSM students. Students must register with their home school guidance counsellor.
