PLEASE NOTE:  Due to the Professional Development Day for instructors and administrators, International Languages classes will not take place on November 19, 2016.

Who is Eligible to attend? All children from junior kindergarten to grade eight who are residents of Ontario are welcome to attend free of charge. An activity fee is applicable to non-Ontario resident students.  

International Languages Elementary Program gives children (JK to Gr. 8) the opportunity to:

  • Maintain their heritage language and culture
  • Learn the language of their cultural background
  • Learn a new language
  • Understand a new culture

Registration for the IL Elementary Program

Classes start September 10, 2016.
Please register at the school location.
Registration is ongoing throughout the year at the IL school sites. You may register in the school office on Saturdays with the IL site administrator at the school that you wish for your child to attend.
Age Eligibility:
Children born between 2003 and 2012.
To register 
  • all students should bring proof of age (e.g., a copy of the birth certificate or passport)
  • proof of address
  • SK - Grade 8 students should bring a copy of the last day-school report card.
• $10 Consumables/Activity fee
• $160 Out-of-province fee for Quebec residents
