New Year's Camps

Our New Year's camps are available to students from all school boards.

GAME ON! New Year's Sports Camp (Ages 7-13 years) January 4, 5 & 6

A variety of sports will be covered including: basketball, volleyball, Ultimate, badminton, tchoukball, floorball, curling/target games, and others. Age appropriate groups and low instructor/student ratio. Professional sport-specific instruction by experienced physical education teachers. Goal of GAME ON! is to participate in a variety of sports with the FOCUS on fun! Campers must bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks to camp. Pizza lunch included on Friday.

Super Skills Basketball Camp (Ages 9-11 years) January 4, 5 & 6

Super Skills Basketball Development Camp is a 3-day basketball clinic directed by former Carleton University Ravens player Mike Kenny. The camp will be skills-based with an emphasis on shooting, passing, footwork, ball handling and defence. Whether players are new to the game or have played recreationally they will benefit from an intense and enjoyable three days of basketball instruction and play. Players will learn basic concepts and have the opportunity to apply them in competitive 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 situations. Campers provide their own lunch and snacks.

True Competitor Basketball Camp  (Ages 12-13 years) January 4, 5 & 6

This camp is  a specially designed clinic for competitive players, or those aspiring to play at that level. Directed by former Carleton University Ravens point guard Mike Kenny, the clinic will be a combination of skills-based – with an emphasis on shooting, passing, footwork and ball handling, and conceptual – reviewing offensive and defensive concepts. Players will benefit from an intense and enjoyable three days of basketball competition, including a skill evaluation and team tournament play. Players can look forward to guest Coach instruction and lectures, as well as character development around the values of humility, courage, resilience, wisdom and leadership. Campers provide their own lunch and snacks.

My child has medical concerns. How do I inform the camp counsellors?
If your child has any medical conditons or severe allergies, download and complete the Medical Release form, and bring it to camp on the first day.
 
Can I cancel my registration?
You may cancel a camp registration before March 3, 2017 and obtain a refund minus a $15 administration fee. AFTER MARCH 3, 2017 REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
